• Hello everyone. The first week of SparkDev is officially over and I could not be happier with my team’s performance so far. Last week we went over Git commands and basic JavaScript. Teaching JavaScript was both challenging and really fun because most of my team was more familiar with Java and the restrictions the strongly typed Object-oriented programming language has. Thankfully after overcoming hurdles like arrow functions, array prototype functions and DOM manipulation my team was able to pull through and feel more comfortable with the madness that is JavaScript.
• This week we will be covering HTML, CSS and then diving head first into React.js. I am super excited for the challenges and learning experiences that the coming weeks have to offer.
