Hey readers!

The AI team is excited to be back in gear this semester for some really great projects.

We have three teams, three projects, and one goal: to have people get hands on experience with complex theory in a fun way.

Two of our projects revolve around creating agents to play Pac-Man; one project for building a Pac-Man agent, the other for creating the Ghosts’. Both will be a deep dive into not on reward-based learning, but how to develop powerful game AI with learned behavior, rather than hard coded path following.

Our third project, though not game inspired, will be just as intense revolving around natural language processing (NLP). The project will have its members go through the pipeline of developing and applying NLP concepts and techniques.

We’re excited for what this semester holds and glad that you guys can join us for the ride. Stay tuned for consistent updates (and maybe even a few tutorials)!
