SUMMARY:UPE General Body Meeting
DESCRIPTION:UPE will have its first General Body Meeting for the Spring semester on Friday\, March 31st @ 3:30pm in CASE 135 and virtually via Zoom. \nPizza and soda will be served at the in-person meeting. \nDuring the past year\, several changes have been made to UPE that require UPE to chart a new direction with new student leadership. To this end\, the following agenda will be discussed at the first general body meeting for the Spring semester. \nAgenda:\n1.  Current State of UPE @ FIU\n2.  Review of UPE Current Resources – Budget\, Makerspace\, Hardware\, and Software\n3.  Charting a New Direction\n4.  Spring Semester Induction Ceremony\n5.  E-Board Nominations \nWe encourage all KFSCIS students interested in getting involved in an organization that is rebuilding to attend this meeting. Getting involved allows you to join the UPE leadership and chart a new path for UPE with its available resources. \nWe want to remind you that the newly elected e-board will be paid a semester stipend for their service to UPE. If you are interested in serving on the e-board\, please email the UPE faculty advisor at clarkep@cis.fiu.edu with the subject “Interested in Serving on the UPE E-Board” and a short description of why you are interested.
